Portuguese ceramic rooster original vintage from the 70s
This landmark Portugal is based on a legend: An innocent pilgrim was sentenced to death while eating a roasted rooster. The pilgrim said that since he was innocent, the rooster would crow when he was led to the gallows. When he went to the gallows, the roasted rooster crowed and the pilgrim was set free.
